# NextChapter

> Local-first educational financial planning engine for Spain. NextChapter models indexed investing, FIRE, cash flow, housing, tax, withdrawal and scenarios. Personal data remains in the user's browser or local workspace unless explicitly exported.

Important semantics: unknown is not zero; defaults are not confirmed facts; internal transfers never create wealth; home equity is not liquid FIRE capital; emergency reserves are not automatically investable; projections are not predictions.

Extended inventory semantics: identify funds by exact ISIN/share class; distinguish product and platform costs; preserve effective dates and owners; treat self-employment, rental, dividends and pensions as separate income streams; never delete detected duplicates automatically.

Career semantics: compare salaried cash, freelance revenue and illiquid equity separately; INE salary bands are population references, not personal percentiles; RETA and tax assumptions must disclose their year; equity never becomes spendable cash automatically.
